Dr. Med. Ieva Henkuzena is a general dentist, Doctor of Medicine, and the Chief Physician at the clinic.
In 1985, Dr Henkuzena graduated from the Dentistry Program of Riga Stradins University and furthered her academic career at the University of Latvia, developing and managing the study program “Dentistry”. Dr. Henkuzena is also the author of one of the University’s courses on how general diseases affect oral health.
She has attended professional development programs in various countries including the USA, Finland, UK, Norway, Germany, Sweden, Argentina, etc., but in addition to her professional work, Dr Henkuzena enjoys art.
Dr. Ieva Henkuzena is deeply committed to patient care and constantly reminds her students that “the patient is attached to the tooth” — emphasizing the importance of looking beyond the immediate dental issue and understanding the patient’s overall well-being and needs.
